My name is Adam Johnson. I was born and raised in Lafayette, Indiana. I played high school tennis as well as track and field. I walked on to the track team at Purdue University and graduated with a degree in Kinesiology. I have taught adults in corporate America for nearly 10 years, and am bringing that skill set into coaching pickleball. I began playing in 2018. Currently, I am one of the top pickleball players in Colorado. I compete at the 5.0 and pro levels in tournaments all across the country. I love instructing and sharing my knowledge with others. I feel one of my biggest strengths when teaching is being able to explain the same thing in a variety of ways so everyone can understand in his/her own unique way. I love to make lessons fun and look forward to working with you.
I was first introduced to pickleball in 2018 at a local fitness club in Boulder. Over the next few years I started play with some intermediate players and get more excited about the game.
In 2020, I began playing at local parks and clubs, and really enjoy the social atmosphere. I continued to study the game and I completed a professional teaching certification through the PPR (Professional Pickleball Registry) in 2022.
I look forward to sharing the courts with you!
